Tim Peacock manages engineering and site operations for Sermo, Inc. In his role, Tim helps define product strategy, explores implementation options and then executes on the selected strategy. Tim served as Director of Development at Lotus Development, where he led development of Lotus 1-2-3. During his time there, Tim managed a 150-person+ engineering team. Under his leadership, Lotus-1-2-3 generated over $300 million in annual revenue. Tim then moved on to Intranets.com, where he served as VP of Engineering, and then President and COO. After managing the transition from a wildly-popular free service to a paid service, and building the subscriber base to more than 300,000 paid users, Tim helped lead the company to profitability. Intranets.com was bought by WebEx in 2005. Prior to joining Sermo, Tim worked at DirectoryM, a company that provides local online advertising for small businesses. As SVP of Engineering, Tim oversaw the teams responsible for defining and delivering DirectoryM's web service, as well as investigating opportunities for innovation in future products and technology. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). |
