Sherry Herman is responsible for the distribution of mobile content for PlayPhone through retail, consumer acquisition programs, promotions and MVNOs. Twenty years of sales, business development and management experience with major U.S. retailers in the consumer electronics industry has given Sherry the tools to develop the strategies and implement PlayPhone’s varied mobile content distribution channels.
Sherry has been instrumental in developing PlayPhone’s retail distribution strategy by launching the first comprehensive retail mobile prepaid content offering in the wireless industry. Sherry also developed and launched PlayPhone’s direct-to-consumer media strategy.
Prior to joining PlayPhone, Sherry was the vice president of Herman Marketing Group, providing manufacturer sales representative services to companies such as Atari, Data East, Triffix, Jaleco, Sunsoft, Viacom and SNK where she managed a national network of sales representatives with more than $50 million in sales.
Over the years, Sherry has been instrumental in implementing the sales strategy that brings new consumer technology products to the mass retail environment, including computer and video games, accessories and hardware. She attended the University of Georgia in Athens where she studied management administration. |
