Russ Klop moved to California in 1978 from Long Island, NY at the age of thirteen. He attended UC Irvine while still a junior in high school and upon graduation from high school he transferred to Haverford College in Pennsylvania.
Russ was Manager, General Manager, Regional Supervisor and at the age of 23 became the Director of Operations for Domino’s Pizza chain. After six years of service at Domino’s Pizza he moved into the full service industry and earned a position as General Manager for Tony Roma’s. Two years later he joined the Claim Jumper chain where he held the position of General Manager at several locations in Orange County and assisted with the opening of other locations in California. Taking that experience to his next venture, he became a partner in Z Tejas Southwest Grill and opened locations in Arizona, Washington and California. Russ was the first Chairman of the Restaurant Board at South Coast Plaza which brought new challenges to his ever growing knowledge and experience. Russ was the Store Opening Coordinator for French 75, Irvine, Burbank and Century City.
Russ has three children, his daughter Cassie, and two boys Cody and Cohl. |
