Randy Brown joined Outdoor Channel as Senior Vice President, Affiliate Sales and Marketing in September 2007. He brings more than two decades of experience in securing cable, satellite and telco carriage for new and established networks. Most recently, Brown led affiliate sales as Senior Vice President of Distribution for The Tennis Channel where he helped secure carriage deals with 18 of the top 20 cable and satellite providers in addition to cable launches in 47 of the top 50 markets. Previously, Brown was Vice President, Affiliate Sales and Marketing for ESPN’s Central Division where he spent nearly 15 years managing marketing and distribution for ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNEWS. Brown's cable career began in 1984 at the Detroit-based regional sports network Pro Am Sports System (PASS). He has served as an adjunct assistant professor at the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University where he was also voted into the University's Marketing Hall of Fame. Brown has also guest lectured on sports marketing at Northwestern University, Marquette University and University of Southern California. He holds a Bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Michigan University and a Master's degree in business administration from Chicago's Loyola Graduate School of Business where he graduated with honors.
