Patricia L. Dodge is a partner of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP and Chair of the firm’s Business Litigation Group. Her practice is concentrated in civil litigation where she has specialized in commercial and business disputes, civil rights, products liability and other personal injury litigation, land use litigation and alternative dispute resolution.Ms. Dodge is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. She has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by the publisher of Law & Politics Magazine since 2005, as well as one of the top fifty female lawyers in Pennsylvania and one of the top fifty lawyers in Pittsburgh. She has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, 2007 and 2008 editions, published by Woodward & White.Ms. Dodge is an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She also serves on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy ("NITA") intensive trial advocacy program, and has taught a similar advocacy course for law students held at Emory University. In addition, she has lectured in programs and seminars sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.Ms. Dodge serves as an arbitrator, mediator and early neutral evaluator in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She also serves as a private mediator and arbitrator. Ms. Dodge received a Bachelor of Science degree with high distinction from The Pennsylvania State University in 1974. She earned her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law in 1981. While at Duquesne University School of Law, she served on the Duquesne Law Review.Ms. Dodge is a fellow of The Allegheny County Bar Foundation. She is on the board of directors of FamilyLinks. Ms. Dodge is President of the Thornburg Borough Council. |
