Nina Coil is Director of Product Development and Research at Linkage, Inc. with more than fifteen years' experience in training facilitation, instructional design, and project management. She specializes in creative train-the-trainer programs, change and transition management, and leadership development. Nina is co-author of the Creative Training Techniques Handbook. She has worked with leaders and staff of domestic and global corporations, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses. Nina worked with Bill Bridges to update and edit his material on Transition Management, and she is Master Certified to enable the certification of human resource professionals, managers and others struggling with the human side of change.
Nina directs the Product Development Team, which transforms Linkage's intellectual capital into public seminars, training programs, licensed certification programs, white papers, best practice books and job aids to help client organizations translate strategic goals into effective individual behavior. Nina has led the design and development, and has masterfully facilitated a variety of programs, including: Decision Making - Strategies for Making the Right Call, Enhancing Your Emotional Intelligence, Essential Negotiation Skills, Leadership-Level Facilitation Skills, and Linkage's Management Skills Certificate Program. In addition, Nina has produced products designed to enhance the learning of attendees at Linkage's Excellence in Management and Leadership satellite broadcast series, delivered sessions at Linkage's Global Institute for Leadership Development, and customized multi-day leadership development programs for global companies.
Prior to joining Linkage, Nina worked in the non-profit sector for a number of different organizations. She was instrumental in the success of the Institute for Workforce Innovation, the training and development arm of the Commonwealth Corporation where she led train-the-trainer programs for people helping others through the transition of job loss. She also worked in Legal Services (the National Consumer Law Center and the Northeast Regional Training Center), training directors and staff attorneys in management skills.
Nina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bennington College. She is also qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs, enable strategic planning through Lego Serious Play, and to help lead Executive Teams through the human side of change, as well as numerous professional certifications in training delivery. |
