Michael H. Legge became president and chief executive officer of Magnesium Corporation of America, in 1993 and took the same positions with US Magnesium when it was formed in 2002. Legge has held a number of positions since first being hired in 1979, including process control superintendent and plant manager. Before moving to the magnesium industry, Legge worked for six years in the copper industry with Phelps Dodge Incorporated. Legge earned a bachelor of science degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Arizona in 1969 and a masters of business administration degree from the University of Arizona in 1978. |
