Michael Drazan joined The Toro Company as vice president corporate information services in March, 2000. In this position, Drazan is responsible for all information technology, systems operations, networking and communications systems development for the Company. In addition, he partners with executive management to develop strategic information technology plans that will best support the growth, profitability and competitiveness of the business.
Drazan has over 21 years experience in manufacturing and logistics operations in multiple industries. He came to Toro from Cargill, Inc. in Minnetonka, where he managed the infrastructure and applications for Cargill's food sector. Prior to that, he consulted in logistics and distribution and worked at the Pillsbury Company in Minneapolis as director of operations, research and development systems.
Drazan graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Toro Purchasing Company and is an advisory board member for Michigan State University's College of Computer Science & Engineering. He is a member of the Worldwide Executive Council.
