Ms. Houghton is an attorney in the Labor and Employment Department of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. She received a B.A. and M.B.A. from Xavier University, graduating summa cum laude and magna cum laude, respectively. Ms. Houghton received her Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Cincinnati, graduating summa cum laude, and her law degree from Loyola University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. Ms. Houghton's practice covers a wide range of labor and Employment issues. She is experienced in advising clients and litigating claims brought under federal and state discrimination laws, wage and hour laws, family leave laws, workplace safety and health laws and ERISA. Ms. Houghton's background and training in business administration gives her valuable insight into the complex business and employee relations issues faced by her clients. Ms. Houghton is licensed to practice law in the States of Louisiana and Ohio; U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Louisiana, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts.
