Mark Tilden left Tektronix to found Sight & Sound Software in 1993 after nearly 17 years in software and hardware engineering and engineering management roles. He has extensive experience leading technology development projects, and holds a patent for technology he developed at Tektronix. Mark's technical leadership placed him in strategic planning and product definition. After founding Sight & Sound, Mark spearheaded the company's work in the on-line travel technology sector. He was responsible for the development of American Airlines' Personal AAccess product, which provided user-friendly air, car, and hotel reservations capability on a PC without using the Internet. Mark is a well-known, published consultant in on-line travel technology, and he has spoken at numerous travel and technology conferences throughout the world. He holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering and has completed course work toward a masters in Computer Science. |
