Mr. Johnson served in Vietnam as a pilot and Aircraft Commander with the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Johnson earned both a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the Air Force Academy and an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of California at Los Angeles. Appointed to the Board of Directors of the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools in 1993, he currently serves as the Chairman of their Negotiating Committee. Mr. Johnson brings over 20 years of aviation and consulting experience to The Pilot Program. During his 16 year career as a pilot and flight engineer with Eastern Airlines, Mr. Johnson lead the design and implementation of the Eastern Pilots 401(k) plan. After leaving Eastern, he continued to serve the plan as a consultant until it was finally terminated. Prior to joining Cleary Gull, Mr. Johnson was the Executive Director of the Harper Court Foundation. He is also a former Executive Vice President of the AirLine Pilots Association (ALPA). |
