Lois M. Traub is an associate in the firm's Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Law practice group. She has extensive experience representing management in private and public sector labor relations. Ms. Traub has represented management in employment discrimination matters at the city, state and federal agencies and in state and federal courts. Her experience also includes representation of management in unfair labor practice proceedings, and representation matters before the National Labor Relations Board, and Improper Practice Proceedings before the Public Employment Relations Board, labor arbitrations and employment-related litigation, negotiating and drafting employment and separation agreements, drafting personnel policies and advising clients on state and federal labor law compliance.
Ms. Traub has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including hotels, restaurants, hospitals and nursing homes, manufacturing concerns, newspapers and the publishing industry, real estate developers, contractors, and municipalities and state public authorities.
Ms. Traub received her B.A. degree in 1974 from Vassar College. She attended Southern Methodist University and New England School of Law and received her J.D. degree cum laude in 1978. She is admitted to practice in New York State, and Maryland, the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Section. |
