Description of Practice:
Jessica Pink is senior counsel in the Los Angeles office. Jessica's practice involves all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of individual properties as well as multi-property transactions, land use and development, financing, leasing and asset management in connection with commercial, residential, industrial, retail and mixed-use projects. In particular, she has extensive experience representing purchasers and sellers in complex transactions involving multiple parties and properties. Jessica represents a wide range of clients, including developers, landlords, tenants, lenders, asset managers, and other real estate enterprises.
The following matters are representative of Jessica's recent and current transactions:
Represented lender in $160,000 loan secured by a regional shopping center
Represented buyer in acquisition and financing of a $170,000 office park
Represented developer in acquisition, financing and development of a mixed-use project on a former military base consisting of approximately 3,700 acres
Represented seller in disposition of 590,000 square foot office campus
Represented landlord in modification of a ground lease covering over 150 acres to permit a mixed use residential, retail and entertainment project
Represented buyer in acquisition of a commercial center consisting of over 1,100,000 square feet of leaseable space in 34 buildings located on multiple parcels
Represented seller in disposition of $350,000,000 mixed use project including 595 residential units and 130,000 square feet of commercial and office space (Winner of the Market-Rate Residential Sale - Deal of the Year from the San Francisco Business Times 2004 Real Estate Deals of the Year)
Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Jessica was a real estate associate with the law firm of Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP in Los Angeles. Jessica is a member of the State Bar of California (Member, Real Property Section), the Orange County Bar Association (Member, Real Property Section), and the Orange County Cal Alumni Club.
Educational History:
Jessica received her B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of California at Berkeley, where she graduated with honors in 1996. During her junior year, she studied at Georg-August Universität in Göttingen, Germany. Jessica obtained her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2000. While in law school, she was Assistant Editor for the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs and a research assistant for Professor Michael Asimow in connection with an article entitled "Bad Lawyers in the Movies", published in the Winter, 2000 issue of Nova Law Review. |
