Doug is the Vice President of Remedy Consulting & Delivery with over eight years of Remedy experience and 28 + years of ITSM knowledge. His career began with technical management positions in the US Army. After the military, Doug excelled with Atex, Inc. leading various support teams: Desktop, Networking, Telephony and Support Desk. Later, Doug was selected by First Union National Bank to manage and lead the National Help Desk for the Capital Markets group. In 1998 he earned his Remedy Approved Consultant (RAC) certification. In 1999, Doug formed his own company, Ultimate Workflow Integration Partners (UWIP), and acted as President/CEO for over five years. He was a certified Remedy Instructor teaching exclusively for Remedy Corporation for two years and brought to market the first E-mail integration product for the Remedy Action Request System. In May 2005, UWIP was acquired by cMango. Doug is ITIL Foundation Certified and has also been involved with the National Help Desk Institute (HDI) and was a president of the Charlotte, North Carolina chapter. He has been an active member of the Remedy community, participating in alpha and beta programs, and has been a presenter at three national Remedy User Group conferences. |
