David has experience in a variety of corporate and transactional matters involving the team's core industries, including drafting UFOC’s, assisting clients with franchise registration, and buying and selling franchises. David also advises the team’s clients on general corporate matters, including residential real estate, distribution agreements, vendor agreements, financing, and compliance with dealer and distribution regulations. In addition, David has a variety of experience in litigation matters, including termination disputes with franchisees, claims against real estate agents, claims under the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act, the Washington Franchise Investment Protection Act, and the Oregon Motor Fuel Franchises Act, actions involving beverage distribution rights, claims concerning the unintentional formation of franchises, and the defense of product liability actions.
