Mr. Walton has over 20 years experience as an environmental attorney in private practice in Virginia, and is a former partner of the Williams Mullen law firm in Richmond, Virginia. He has represented many national and regional waste industry clients, and also represented local governments and industry in environmental permitting, compliance and government affairs. Mr. Walton was appointed as Special Counsel to Virginia's Governor and Attorney General in federal court solid waste litigation. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a staff scientist at the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). Mr. Walton received both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Richmond. |
