Charles Close joined NuTech Energy Alliance in 1999. Currently, Mr. Close manages the financial, accounting and tax functions of NuTech.
Mr. Close graduated from the University of Texas in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting) and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Mr. Close's 20 years of experience in his field has included:
Managing an energy-specific C.P.A. practice
Mastering Federal and State corporate tax compliance, transaction consulting, acquisition planning and due diligence, financial compilation and reporting, and accounting outsourcing.
Responsibilities for the financial reporting, tax planning, consultation, and compliance of large oil and gas exploration and production (E&P), and oil field service companies.
Managing the Price Waterhouse tax practice in Midland, Texas.
