The group's principal activities are to provide products and services used for drilling, completion and production of oil and natural gas wells. The operations are carried out in three segments: drilling, completion and maintenance and safety related products and services. Drilling segment provides products and services used for drilling of oil and natural gas wells. Completion segment provides products like wireline logging and perforating, polymers and specialty chemicals and tubing. Maintenance segment provides products and services for refinery and petrochemical plant applications and for oil and natural gas companies. The operations are focused in the gulf of Mexico, the north sea, the Mediterranean Sea, the Persian Gulf and Brazil and onshore in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Europe.the group acquired continental directional corp, dutch inc, and hydracoil inc in 2003.
