The group's principal activities are to acquire, explore, develop and mine uranium properties. The group uses in situ leach mining process to extract uranium. The leach mining process fortifies groundwater with oxidizing agents is pumped into the ore body causing the uranium contained in the ore to dissolve. The resulting solution is pumped to the surface where it is further processed to a dried form of uranium that is shipped to conversion facilities for sale. The in situ leach technique avoids the movement and milling of significant quantities of rock and ore as well as mill tailing waste associated with more traditional mining methods.
