The group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and service technology-based solutions for the upstream energy industry. The group provides a range of products and services to reduce the cost of drilling and producing oil and gas. During 2001, the completions division was discontinued. The group has two operating divisions: services and products. Services division provides services, including the use of specialized equipment primarily to oil and gas operators. Products division provides the design, manufacture and sale, including after-sales support, of specialized equipment to the oil and gas and mining industry. Services accounted for 73% of 2001 revenues and products, 27%.
