Yasmine D. Anavi is Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer of Global Consumer Group (GCG). GCG offers consumers in 53 countries lending, deposit, and investment products through a network of retail bank branches, consumer finance branches, direct marketing, and the Internet.
In November 2005, she was named Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Global Consumer Group - International to support its $110 billion portfolio of credit cards, mortgages, personal, auto, and other loans originated through its retail branches, consumer finance franchise, and various other channels.
In May 2005, she was named Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Citi’s Retail Banking North America, a diverse group of businesses that include Citi’s consumer mortgage, home equity and student loan businesses, the Retail distribution network, Primerica Financial Services, and its Small Business and Middle Market lending and leasing business, and Commercial Real Estate and Community Development lending.
From August 1998 to May 2005 she was Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Citi Cards North America. Citi Cards is a leading issuer of cards in the US, with over 120 million accounts and $142 billion in loan balances.
Prior to joining Citi in 1998, Ms. Anavi was a Senior Vice President and Group Credit Executive at Chase, where she was responsible for its national consumer loan portfolio. She began her career at one of Chase’s predecessor companies, Chemical Bank.
She has over twenty years of extensive credit risk management experience across a broad array of consumer and commercial credit products, channels, and customer risk profiles.
She served as Director and Chief Credit Officer of Citibank, FSB, Citibank (West), FSB and Citibank Texas, N.A. from August 2005 to January 2006.
Ms. Anavi received her MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BBA in International Marketing from Baruch College. |
