Wiren is a seasoned business executive with close to 20 years of experience in both established and early stage high technology companies. Most recently he was responsible for LAN, MAN and WAN communications components and modules businesses at JDSU with annual revenue in the $300m range. Previously, he headed business operations for Mysticom, a supplier of 10/100, Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet products. Wiren was the first marketing executive at Stream Machine (acquired by Cirrus Logic) a pioneer in digital multimedia IC solutions for consumer entertainment. Wiren also led data communications marketing and systems engineering at PMC-Sierra, growing the business to a $200m run rate, and held management positions at NEC. He received a Ph.D. from Cambridge University. |
