On June 26 2007 Willow B. Shire was elected a director of Vitesse. She has been appointed the chair of the Compensation and Governance Committees of the Board of Directors of the Company. Ms. Shire has been an executive consultant with Orchard Consulting Group since 1994 specializing in leadership development and strategic problem solving. During her professional career she spent 20 years in the computer industry. She served as a vice president and officer at Digital Equipment Corporation with responsibility for its $1 billion healthcare market. She is currently on the board of The TJX Companies Inc. (NYSE: TJX) where she has led the corporate governance committee for the last 10 years. Additionally she has been a presenter for board governance issues for the Board Leaders and the National Association for Corporate Directors (NACD). Ms. Shire holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University’s School of Education and a master’s degree from Harvard School of Education. She has also completed the International Marketing and Management Program at INSEAD in Fontaineblueu France and completed advanced studies in organization design and behavior with Noel Tichy at Columbia University.
