Bill joined USi in April 1998 as the Vice President, Secretary, and General Counsel. In May 2002 he was promoted to Senior Vice President. Bill is responsible for USi's legal affairs, serving as primary legal counsel to USi's senior leadership and Board of Directors. He leads USi's legal and contract teams and advises the company on transactional and compliance matters. Bill has been a key contributor to USi's private and public financing and its merger and acquisition activities. Before joining USi, Bill represented Fortune 500 clients in transactional matters and advocated their interests in the state and federal courts of New York, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Bill holds a BA in Economics from St. Lawrence University and a JD from Syracuse University College of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Maryland, New York, Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia. He lives in Edgewater, MD, with his wife and three children. |
