currently serves as a senior vice president and chief technical officer. In this role, Partlo is responsible for managing and defining the technical direction for the company and its intersection with required products to meet the demands of the semiconductor marketplace. Prior to serving as the CTO for Cymer, Partlo has held various positions in research and technology development including; research scientist, senior scientist and most recently senior fellow in the Office of the CTO. Prior to joining Cymer in 1993, Partlo served as a staff scientist at GCA/TROPEL Inc., in Rochester, New York. Partlo holds a doctorate and master's degree, both in engineering, from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
