Bill is former CEO of Spectrum Health, a community owned seven hospital health system serving western Michigan. Bill's 37 year career in health care has been defined by shaping organizational cultures around people. His work to engage health care executive teams in the clinical process has resulted in satisfied, energized care teams that produce high-level patient outcomes.
Bill has served as CEO of major teaching hospitals for 21 years, working with nursing and medical staff leadership in partnership roles to improve the overall clinical process.
Bill currently coaches and mentors executives, is an adjunct professor at Michigan State University, and presents at ACHE programs, state and national Healthcare Associations and his alma mater, The Sloan Institute of Healthcare Administration at Cornell University. |
