William W. Verity was elected to AFG's Board of Directors at the annual meeting of shareholders held on June 17, 2002. He is Chairman of the Governance Committee and is a member of the Compensation Committee. From 1994 until March 2002, he served as an independent director of Chiquita Brands International. Inc.
Will has been President of Veritas Asset Management, LLC, an investment management company, since January 2002. Prior to that time, he had been a partner with Pathway Guidance LLC, an executive consulting firm, since October 2000. Previously, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ENCOR Holdings, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of plastic molded components. |
