Sandy McAllister specializes in corporate/commercial litigation and general business law, representing a variety of institutional and corporate clients. His practice includes real estate development in the region, both commercial and residential, and he has assisted in the successful development of the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort, North Bay/Erickson Environmental Center and other significant regional development projects. As the former City Attorney for Cambridge, he frequently works with state and regional agencies in complex zoning and development matters. The Hyatt and Erickson projects both involved significant public/private sector cooperation and complex federal, state and local approvals. Mr. McAllister appears regularly before the Critical Areas Commission. Over the past few years, Mr. McAllister has provided litigation resolution/settlement services throughout the country on behalf of Oak Hill Investments, a New York investment company, and its affiliates and subsidiaries, including the voluntary liquidation of Paxis, LLC, a national bulk mail/shipping company, based in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. McAllister also acts as general counsel to the Caroline and Dorchester County Boards of Education.
