Dr. Purcell is Chairman of the Department of Oncology/Hematology and Director of the Billings Clinic Cancer Center in Billings, Montana. He leads the multidisciplinary cancer program at Billings Clinic with a focus on comprehensive cancer patient care and access to clinical research and trials. He is also a board member of the Northern Rockies Radiation Oncology Center and consultant to several insurance and pharmaceutical firms.
Dr. Purcell is also Clinical Instructor of Oncology and Consultant for Finance and Practice Strategy at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Purcell received his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine. He did his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and his fellowship in medical oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
Dr. Purcell also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business |
