Mr. McIvor is the Executive Vice President of Business Development for Accordant Health Services. Mr. McIvor has an extensive managed care background and is responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships for Accordant. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Accordant Health Services, Mr. McIvor has also participated on the boards of Reuters Health Information Services, Oxford Health Plans of Illinois, and Illinois Association of Health Maintenance Organizations. Prior to joining Accordant, Mr. McIvor held various executive positions at Oxford Health Plans during his four-year tenure there. As Chief Executive Officer of Oxford Health Plans of New York, Mr. McIvor was responsible for managing a 1.5 million-member health plan with HMO, POS, and PPO lines of business. In addition to his CEO position at Oxford's New York plan, Mr. McIvor has held positions as Chairman, President and Chief Operating Officer of Oxford Health Plans of Illinois; Chief Operating Officer of Oxford Specialty Management; Corporate Director of Health Services Operations; and Regional Director of Medical Delivery Systems at Oxford Health Plans of New Jersey. Before joining Oxford, Mr. McIvor held senior management positions at Ernst & Young where he sold and delivered managed care consulting services to hospitals, physician groups, and managed care organizations. Mr. McIvor has over seventeen years of experience in the managed care industry and has touched all areas of the business including sales, account management, marketing, contracting, provider relations, business development, operations, finance, medical management, and MIS. |
