William J. Michaud is a Principal with CTPartners, a premier executive search firm committed to performance, quality and results. A member of the firm’s Global Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice, Bill focuses primarily on serving health care delivery and service organizations, including for-profit and not-for-profit health care systems and hospitals, long-term and home care providers, HMOs, PPOs, and insurance providers. Previous industry experience in working with boards, chief executives and senior management leading a broad spectrum of health care entities has influenced Bill’s consultation in attracting outstanding talent for Board, CEO, CFO, COO, and senior executive roles as well as for vice presidents leading functions critical to organizational success.Bill refined his collaborative, productive approach during a successful corporate career dedicated almost exclusively to serving clients in the health care industry. Bill has held operational roles of increasing responsibility with the world’s foremost global corporations, including Procter and Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and General Electric. He was instrumental in the growth of several respected private companies including Pilling Company, a private manufacturer of surgical instrumentation, and Sopha Medical Systems, a manufacturer of nuclear medicine gamma cameras and computer systems. At venture-funded start-up Color Kinetics, Inc., Bill was Senior Vice President of Global Sales, establishing the direct sales force, distribution channels, and operational strategies. The company’s revenues grew to $20 million annually and it executed a successful IPO in 2004. Most recently, Bill established the largest academic clinical and research technology/biomarker probe partnership while with CTI Molecular Imaging, Inc. The company produces a full line of positron emission tomography scanners, pre-clinical research imaging systems and cyclotrons, which are supported with service, marketing, and financial products for the medical diagnostic imaging markets. A graduate of the University of Maine, Bill is based in Boston. |
