Bill is currently the Vice President of Business Development for IX Energy. He is responsible for developing a network of contractors and representatives for the company, customer development on the west coast and the development of vertical market opportunities that will broaden the scope of IX Energy’s market offerings. Bill is a professional roofing consultant with more than thirty years of experience in the energy and roofing industries. In 1983 he was a founding partner in American Illuminetics, the first company in the Western United States involved in the design, manufacture, and installation of specular reflectors for commercial applications and the first company to execute a shared savings contract for lighting retrofits with the US Postal Service. As a consultant for The B.F. Goodrich Specialty Chemicals Division, he was instrumental in the lobbying effort for developing legislation for cool roof programs for California, which has led to the Energy Star Program. Bill operated a successful roofing consulting business for 10 years specializing in critical facility market of industry, data centers and hospitals. He assisted in the development of market strategies for Solar Integrated Technologies, a pioneer in the renewable energy sector specializing in roof integrated solar systems, and was also responsible for the development of the government marketing sector for SIT. Bill is a member of the American Council on Renewable Energy, The National Roofing Contractors Association, and The US Green Building Council. |
