Corporate Advisor for the US military and security markets, Mr. Lacey joins the company after a distinguished US Army career covering over thirty years, during which he rose from private to colonel.
Holding combat command positions for Infantry, Airborne and Special Forces units, Mr. Lacey served in the First Cavalry Division as a Company Commander and as Division Assistant Operations Officer in Vietnam. In this conflict he was awarded two Silver Stars for valor, four Bronze Stars for valor and service, two Purple Hearts for wounds sustained. He also received the Legion of Merit.
A recognized expert in defense systems acquisition and test and evaluation, Mr. Lacey served in the Department of the Army HQ and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He routinely testified before Congress on many major Army weapons systems such as the 9 mm Pistol, HMMV vehicles, Bradley APC and the M-1 Abrams Tank.
Mr. Lacey later served as Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Test and Evaluation, with duties involving congressional relations, program development, test design and analysis; R&D, test and evaluation, and acquisition of major systems. |
