William Hart is a member of the Business Transaction Practice Group in the Springfield, Missouri office of Husch & Eppenberger, LLC. He practices primarily in the areas of corporate law, real estate development, financial, and commercial transactions.
Bill has extensive experience in financial transactions, including taking John Q. Hammons Hotels public and preparing three bond offerings totaling $900 million, and secured and unsecured financing in excess of One Billion Dollars in the last five years. Bill has handled numerous transactions involving the buying and selling of hotels, live performance theaters, theme parks, and other significant pieces of real estate. He has also represented developers in major community developments and in the formation of various economic development districts to provide financing for those developments.
After law school, Bill was a Special Agent in the FBI from 1966-70. He then practiced law at the Springfield law firm of Farrington & Curtis (1970-96) until it merged with Husch in 1997.
