William Wallace was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Verizon Avenue, the Verizon subsidiary focused on providing bundled communications services to concentrated communities nationwide. As the market leader, Verizon Avenue had in excess of one million apartment/co-op/condo units under contract. Verizon Avenue was formed when Verizon purchased OnePoint Communications in 2000 and merged it with existing multi-dwelling units from Bell Atlantic and GTE. Mr. Wallace co-founded OnePoint in 1996 as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) focused on the MDU market. Prior to founding OnePoint, he was COO of Gemini Consulting and leader of its Telecommunications practice, which he co-founded and grew from $10 million to $100 million over a five-year period. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School. |
