President and Chief Executive Officer Arrow Electronics Inc.
William E. Mitchell 61 is President and CEO of Arrow Electronics Inc. one of the world's largest distributors of electronic components and computer products and a leading provider of services to the electronics industry. Previous to joining Arrow as CEO in December 2002 Mr. Mitchell was a Corporate Officer and Executive Vice President for Solectron and President of Solectron Global Services from March of 1999. Previous to his tenure at Solectron he was President and CEO of Sequel Inc. and worked in senior management roles for Nashua Raychem and Exxon. He earned a B.S. in chemical engineering magna cum laude from Princeton University and a Masters in industrial engineering and economics from University of Michigan where he was a Rhodes Scholar and a National Science Foundation Fellow.
Mr. Mitchell has been a Rogers' Board member since 1994.
