William C. Sullivan, joined us in February 2004, as Vice President, Diagnostics Operations. Mr. Sullivan has spent over 25 years in the diagnostics industry, covering all aspects of clinical laboratory operations and diagnostic manufacturing, including quality systems, product development, technical transfer, customer support and operations management. Prior to joining us, Mr. Sullivan had been serving as medical device consultant since 2001. From 1999 to 2001, he was Vice President, Diagnostic Manufacturing at Visible Genetics, Inc. and from 1998-1999 he was Vice President, Operations at Nichols Institute Diagnostics (a subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics). Prior to joining Nichols, he was Vice President, Operations at Dianet Med from 1997 to 1998. From 1989 to 1997, Mr. Sullivan served at Laboratory Corporation of America (or its predecessor Roche Biomedical) in a succession of positions covering manufacturing operations. Mr. Sullivan received a BA degree from the College of the Holy Cross and subsequently attended graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds certification as a Specialist in Immunology from the American Society for Clinical Pathology. |
