Bill DuPre represents a variety of business clients including corporations, shareholders, trustees, financial institutions, and syndication agents in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and restructuring. He has helped resolve a wide range of business disputes as lead counsel in numerous jury trials, appeals, workouts, turnarounds, crisis management situations and negotiations, bankruptcies, receiverships, arbitrations, and mediations. Real world experiences representing business clients over a period of nineteen years in matters ranging in size from $100,000 to $500,000,000 enable Mr. DuPre to take a multi-disciplinary, pragmatic, and cost-effective approach in trouble shooting and resolving virtually any type of business problem or dispute. In addition to handling commercial loan workouts, bankruptcies, and related litigation for one of the largest commercial banks in the world, Mr. DuPre has successfully represented corporations, shareholders, and other business clients in a variety of business lawsuits, government investigations, and complex bankruptcy litigation involving contentions ranging from simple breach of contract to healthcare and software fraud, deceptive trade practices, civil RICO, fraudulent conveyances, breach of fiduciary duty, ERISA violations, professional malpractice, and other business torts. A Georgia native, he has appeared in state and federal courts across Georgia and the United States, including Delaware, the Southern District of New York, Alabama, and Texas. Mr. DuPre has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1986 and is a member of the litigation and bankruptcy sections of the State Bar and the Atlanta Bar Association. He is also member of the Turnaround Management Association. Mr. DuPre is admitted to practice in all of Georgia's trial and appellate courts, the United States Bankruptcy and District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
