BACKGROUND: Bill is a shareholder of GrayRobinson. He attended the University of Florida where he graduated in 1973 with a degree in accounting. Bill then attended the University of Florida College of Law, graduating with his law degree in 1976 and his Masters of Law in taxation in 1978. Bill has been a practicing attorney in Orlando since 1978, specializing in business, tax, estate planning and health law. Bill is rated as an "AV"? attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, has been selected as a Florida Leading Attorney and is Florida Bar Board Certified in Tax Law. EXPERIENCE: Bill specializes in tax, corporate, healthcare law, and estate planning with an emphasis on estate planning, including Wills, Trusts, Irrevocable Insurance Trusts, family limited partnerships, and charitable tax planning. Bill has represented numerous closely held business owners, including professionals, wholesalers, retailers, members of the printing industry, manufacturing groups and members of the tourist industry. He has assisted individuals in planning their estates, providing for the eventual disposition of their assets after death from non-taxable estates (less than $600,000) to estates totaling over 20 million dollars in value. In this connection, Bill has prepared trusts, Wills and other sophisticated estate planning documents. Bill has assisted individuals in forming family limited partnerships, in utilizing self-canceling installment notes and in coordinating buy-sell agreements, employment agreements and other agreements related to family succession in a business entity. Bill has also assisted organizations in defining and accomplishing the goal of a younger generation taking over the operation and day to day direction of a family held business prior to the death of the business owner. Bill has assisted individuals in utilizing charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts and other charitable vehicles to accomplish their goals. He has also assisted individuals in the disposition of businesses in order to accomplish estate planning and other personal goals. In this regard, Bill has also handled numerous corporate mergers and acquisitions in order to assist clients to meet their objectives. Bill is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
