Peterson is responsible for all corporate opportunities at Mad Catz and handles all legal issues. Since joining Mad Catz, he has negotiated numerous license and other agreements within the video game industry, including the first ever memory card license with Sony. Peterson spent seven years at the International law firm of Latham & Watkins, where he represented and consulted with numerous Fortune 500 companies. He is also the co-founder and co-owner of Cornerstone Films of America, a production company that produces and markets full-length motion pictures worldwide. Peterson received his law degree from the J. Rueben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also served as an articles editor on the BYU Law Review in which he was published. Following law school, Peterson clerked for the Honorable Bruce S. Jenkins, Chief Judge of the Federal District Court in Utah. |
