West has more than 21 years experience in Investment/Asset Management, Corporate Treasury Services and Commercial/ Retail Banking. He was previously employed by one of the world’s largest financial institutions where he managed $350,000,000 in investment assets for a wide range of clientele including individuals, trusts, colleges, universities, endowments and foundations. Since joining SCBT in 2005, West has played a key role in the Bank’s trust and asset management business. Drawing from his extensive investment management background, he ensures the delivery of customized investment solutions to the meet the needs of SCBT’s high net worth customers. West is a 1984 Graduate of Wofford College and a 2000 Graduate of the LSU School of Banking. He completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Cash Manager (CCM®) designations and holds series NASD 6, 63, 7 licenses. He is a past president of the
South Carolina Treasury Management Association and currently serves as district chairman of the Indian Waters Council of the Boy Scouts of America. |
