Mr. Schlenker holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Juris Doctor with honors from The University of Texas School of Law where he was a member of the Texas Law Review from 1989 to 1991. Wes practiced as an attorney in the corporate and securities section of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld from 1991 to 1994 in Dallas Texas Brussels Belgium and London England. From 1994 to 1999 he served as Secretary and General Counsel to HighwayMaster Corporation a telecommunications startup company during its initial public offering and following.
Prior to law school Wes worked as a Systems Engineer for Electronic Data Systems and GM/Saturn Information Systems from 1984 to 1988. Mr. Schlenker currently serves on the board of Kessler Community Church in Dallas Texas.
