Wendi A. Lonnquist, a Director, advises Secura clients on credit and regulatory compliance matters, including the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and fair lending laws.

She rejoined The Secura Group in 2001 with 14 years of experience in banking, regulatory examination and consulting for financial institutions. Most recently, she was a manager with KPMG Consulting, specializing in compliance and regulatory consulting for large financial institutions, mortgage companies and credit card banks.

Ms. Lonnquist began her career in lending, regulatory compliance and internal audits at Homestead Savings and Loan California . She also worked at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as a compliance examiner in the OCC’s Western Region. In 1994, she joined The Secura Group in its compliance and regulatory consulting practice. She moved to KPMG Consulting in 1997.

Ms. Lonnquist has been a speaker at the California Bankers Association’s Regulatory Compliance Conference, Institute of International Bankers , the CRA and Fair Lending Colloquium and the International Financial Institutions Association of California. She also has written articles for CRA Compass and Compliance Advisor.

Ms. Lonnquist graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
