F. Wayne Elggren, a director in the Salt Lake City office of LECG, is a certified public accountant with over 22 years of experience in public accounting. Mr. Elggren was formerly a partner of Neilson Elggren LLP, a founding partner of Neilson Elggren Durkin and Co., which was acquired by Arthur Andersen LLP, and a manager in the litigation and consulting services departments of the international accounting firms of KMG/Main Hurdman and Fox & Company.
Mr. Elggren has led numerous bankruptcy, investigative and litigation consulting engagements across the country including engagements in Washington, Oregon, Virginia, Kentucky, California, Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Nevada, Montana and Utah. Mr. Elggren has provided expert testimony in state and federal courts, before administrative hearing bodies and the United States House of Representatives. He has provided testimony on matters involving damages, tracing of assets, business valuation, solvency, GAAS and GAAP, professional malpractice, and fraud.
Mr. Elggren has served as a trustee, receiver, examiner, estate manager, and debtor's representative or distributing agent in over 5,000 cases in California, Washington, Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and Utah. He has also served as financial advisor, accountant or consultant to trustees, receivers, liquidating agents, creditors and creditors (secured and unsecured) committees. He has qualified as an expert in bankruptcy matters before the federal district court in California and the bankruptcy court in Utah. |
