Walter Duffy joined Faegre & Benson in 1978. He was formerly the City Attorney for the City of Minneapolis. Walter has focused his practice on international commercial dispute resolution, counseling and litigation related to international business and complex domestic transactions. Walter is a citizen of both the United States and Ireland and the co-chair of Faegre & Benson's International Arbitration practice. He has been lead attorney at numerous trials and arbitrations around the world. He is a frequent lecturer on international dispute resolution and complex commercial litigation. Walter has been the lead lawyer for the Metropolitan Airport Commission's $2.5 billion airport expansion at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, including all litigation and land acquisition for the project.
