Reinhard, a member of the firm, practices administrative, environmental and regulatory law involving public utilities and other regulated industries such as telephone, cable television, electric and gas, water, sewer and solid waste. With 30 years experience, Skip regularly handles detailed public utility rate cases, and many other types of matters, before the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and, where necessary, the judicial system, representing clients from the telecommunications and utility industries. Skip has been included in the Energy Law section of several editions of The Best Lawyers In America, including the most recent edition.
Through his years of practice, Skip has also worked with municipally-owned electric and water companies as well as real estate developers requiring municipal, environmental and utility approvals. He has also been active in all areas of regulatory and permitting work and has worked on various facilities siting, zoning and planning matters and real property tax appeals. In addition, Skip has represented industry groups and large business concerns in opposition to regulatory and legislative action taken by both the Board of Public Utilities and the Department of Environmental Protection. He has also worked on cases involving environmental matters such as air and water pollution, hazardous waste management, and Superfund issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Skip clerked for New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Nathan L. Jacobs. While in law school, Skip was the Associate Editor of the Dickinson Law Review. |
