Wade Harman entered his 8th year coaching Ravens TEs and the O-Line in 2006...Two-time Pro Bowler Todd Heap had a productive 2005, becoming the franchise's all-time leading receiver (243-2,893-11.9 avg. and 20 TDs)...Heap ranked 2nd in the AFC in 3rd-down receptions, behind WR Derrick Mason's 30 and tied for 6th in the NFL with 26 receptions for 261 yards and 3 TDs on 3rd downs...The tremendous tandem of Mason and Heap formed the hottest WR/TE combination in the NFL with 161 receptions in 2005, leading all duos of that category.

OVERVIEW: Harman has 20 years of coaching in both the NFL and collegiate ranks...Launched his pro career with the Vikings, where he was part of the prolific Dennis Green-Brian Billick offensive staff...He previously coached with Billick at Utah State...Wade is the only remaining offensive coach from the Super Bowl XXXV run in 2000...Coached players the caliber of TEs Ben Coates and Shannon Sharpe.

1999-2005: (with Baltimore) 2005: Voted 1st alternate to the Pro Bowl, Heap was 3rd among active NFL TE leaders in catches and yards over the last 4 seasons (2002-05, behind Tony Gonzalez and Jeremy Shockey)...Finished 3rd in the NFL among TEs with 75 receptions for 855 yards and 7 TDs (behind Antonio Gates and Gonzalez)...TE Daniel Wilcox (ankle) started 3 games and played in 13 before going on IR. 2004: The Ravens struggled all season with injuries to key Pro Bowl-type players, especially on offense...Heap (ankle) missed 10 games and most of 2 others but still managed to lead Ravens TEs with 27 catches for 303 yards and 3 TDs...Jonathan Ogden (knee, hamstring) missed 4 games...Long-time starting C Mike Flynn missed the 1st 7 games of the season with a fractured clavicle, but did return to start 4 games at RG and 1 at C. 2003: Heap led the team in receptions for the 2nd consecutive season (57-693)...Made 2nd straight trip to Pro Bowl. 2002: Ravens were the only team in the NFL to have a TE (Heap) lead his team in receptions (68-836 yards)...Heap also tied for the team-lead with 6 TDs...Heap posted 2 2-TD games (vs. Jax. and Den.) and 2 go-ahead TDs (at Pit. and at Cin.)...His 6 points at Cin. were game-winners (27-23) with only minutes remaining...Heap made his 1st trip to the Pro Bowl...Rookie TE Terry Jones emerged, starting 6 of 14 games and catching 11 passes for 106 yards and 1 TD. 2001: Future Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe became the NFL's all-time pass-catching TE (11/18 vs. Cle.), eclipsing Ozzie Newsome's NFL marks (662 catches for 7,980 yards)...Sharpe had posted 690 career receptions for 8,553 yards, both all-time NFL records for a TE and earned a spot at the Pro Bowl...Sharpe caught a game-winning TD pass at Jax. (11/25) with 9 seconds remaining. 2000: Ravens signed Sharpe, who led the team with 67 catches for 810 yards and 5 TDs, plus added huge plays in the postseason, catching 6 for 230 yards and 2 TDs. 1999: Re-joined Billick as TEs coach/OL.

1997-98: (with Minnesota) Spent 2 seasons as a coaching assistant, helping tutor the O-line under OL coach Mike Tice...Assisted with playbook development, practice plans and schedules, game plans, opponents scouting reports and assisted the pro personnel department.

1996: (with Morningside College) Served as OC and OL coach in Sioux City, IA.

1992-95: (with U. of the Pacific) Coached a variety of offensive positions and monitored administrative affairs for the football program.

1987-91: (with Utah State) 1991: Coached RBs. 1989-90: TEs coach. 1987-88: Entered the coaching ranks as a graduate assistant.

PERSONAL: A LB at Utah State after transferring from Drake...Wade holds a degree in computer science and a minor in mathematics from Drake...Earned a master's degree in health, physical education and recreation from Utah State in 1988...Grew up in a farm community...Father, John, is a retired veterinarian...Wade and his wife, Angie, have 2 daughters, Madison (11) and Rylee (9), and a son, Hunter (6)...The Harman family lives in Reisterstown, MD.
