Prior to joining Downer & Company in 1993, Mr. Aust worked with a consulting firm researching, developing, and test-marketing information products and services for the legal and medical industries and developing marketing plans for international manufacturers in the marine industry. In 2006, Mr. Aust became the head of Downer & Company’s Aerospace and Automotive practice teams. Mr. Aust focuses on worldwide divestiture and acquisition programs for U.S. and European companies, market research, and competitor intelligence for large corporate clients. Mr. Aust competed on the 1984 and 1988 U.S. Olympic Sailing Teams and worked with the International Olympic Committee as a coach and as an international fundraiser until 1992. He received his bachelor's degree in Finance and Mathematics from Salve Regina University in 1991. In addition, Mr. Aust is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and has a working knowledge of the German language. |
