Description of Practice:
Vincent M. Coscino is a partner in the firm's Orange County office. He practices in the firm's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Practice Group. Mr. Coscino specializes in representing clients in all aspects of the debtor-creditor relationship. Mr. Coscino's practice includes the representation of secured lenders, debtors, bankruptcy trustees, bankruptcy examiners and official creditors' committees. Mr. Coscino regularly represents clients in complex workouts, state and federal court receiverships, foreclosures, enforcement of guarantees, and reorganization and liquidation bankruptcy proceedings. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of real property asset bankruptcy cases involving strip, neighborhood, regional and power shopping centers and malls, apartment buildings, hotels, golf courses, industrial projects, residential subdivisions, office buildings and towers. Having been involved in many prominent bankruptcy reorganization cases, Mr. Coscino is recognized for his expertise in providing efficient and businesslike solutions in complex bankruptcy cases and workouts. Mr. Coscino regularly lectures on various bankruptcy and Creditors' rights subjects and is a frequent speaker in programs sponsored by various professional associations, including the State of California's Continuing Education of the Bar, the California Bankruptcy Forum, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Coscino has lectured at the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Irvine. He authored a three-part series entitled: "So You Always Wanted A Chapter 11 Practice . . . A Road Map Through The Reorganization Process," for the Orange County Bar Association, Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section and he is a regular author of judicial surveys for the California Bankruptcy Forum's annual conference. Mr. Coscino is admitted to practice in all federal districts in the State of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
Additionally, Mr. Coscino is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Financial Lawyers Conference, San Diego County, Orange County and American Bar Associations, State Bar of California, San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and Inland Empire Bankruptcy Forums. Mr. Coscino is currently a panel mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California. Mr. Coscino is also a Director of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, Director of the California Bankruptcy Forum and is the Chair of the 2001 California Bankruptcy Forum Conference.
