Dr. Sendax brings over 40 years of clinical implant experience to the board of directors of IMTEC Corporation. He is an oral implantologist based in Manhattan, having graduated from NYU College of Dentistry, with Post-Doctoral Studies at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine where he also served as a visiting faculty member in the Department of Implant Dentistry. A Diplomate and past President of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, Dr. Sendax is also past President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry which has afforded him Honored Fellow status. He received the A.G. Memorial Award for his outstanding contribution & dedication to the field of Oral Implantology. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (Great Britain) and a former Adjunct Associate Professor & First Director of the Implant Prosthodontics Resident Program at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. Sendax has also served as a member of the attending staff at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. He is currently Associate Attending Oral Implantologist in the Mini Dental Implant Project at St. Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital in NYC. An inventor and holder of four dental implant patents, he is the originator and developer of the world-recognized IMTEC Sendax MDI Mini Dental Implant system manufactured and marketed by IMTEC Corporation. He was also responsible for naming & bringing the curved-bristle ACCESS implant toothbrush to the attention of Dr. Bulard. |
